I've never let not knowing how to do something get in the way of me doing it.

It's neither here-nor-there, if I'm being honest, but simply doing it has always made more sense to me than spending all that precious time learning about it. Make sense? Maybe not. It does to me.

Anyway, like I mentioned last issue, I am in desperate need of finding a career of sorts. No one pays for photos or articles any longer—and I can't complain, as I was able to do that for a while. And while you're kind to keep me going with this little project, I'd like to build something new, so an attempt at getting into something I've always loved but never gotten involved with—design—it shall be.

My days in Oklahoma were spent in online classes (still going; will probably always still be going), color theory, Adobe everything (I've never actually learned Photoshop or InDesign, just kind fumbled my way through it), plus just messing around with design stuff I enjoy.

THIS IS GOING ON TOO LONG SORRY

Here's what I'm after: I want to design your logo* for free. Be it your side business logo or website header or birthday t-shirt or anything. This is the only way I'm going to learn, to go through the process of listening to someone, of putting together ideas based off of that, of voice & vision, of exporting the correct file of revising... everything. So I'm going to take this year and really design some stuff.

You don't have to use it.

And it really is 100% free — this isn't some cheeky way of making money (that's what this site is for), it's honestly so I can work with people I know, pro bono, and end up with a dozen or so designs in my own book.

So, if I can ask yet another favor, have a think about anything you need designed:

• Letterhead

• Logos

• Presentations

• Instagram Story templates

• Websites

• Banners

• Sales stickers (20% off or Limited Supplies or New Shipment, et al)

• Holiday cards

• Invitations

• Announcements

... again, this is 100% free. Absolutely anything you can think of that needs design, let me do it. Even if you were just going to print it off in black & white or get it done at Walgreens, gimme a shot. I won't follow up to see if you use it, promise.
